John was our former client

John was a previously satisfied client of Paschal O’Hare Solicitors and therefore didn’t hesitate to contact us again in order to pursue a claim for compensation. We sent a letter of claim to the negligent driver’s insurer who quickly admitted liability. Given the ongoing symptoms John was experiencing we has him examined by a consultant orthopaedic surgeon. The expert provided a medical report that indicated John was suffering from a frozen shoulder and suggested steroid injections would alleviate symptoms over a period of three to four months. However the report also noted that John could be left with residual stiffness in his shoulder.

We entered negotiations with the insurance company who offered £10,000 in compensation. We rejected this offer and urged the insurer to increase it. The case ultimately settled in the sum of £16,250.
